The house
Between the « Chateaux de la Loire » and La Rochelle, 15 minutes away from Poitiers and the Futuroscope, you will be accommodated (capacity 6 persons) in this cosy family Poitou cottage, built in 1872.
The house is situated at the edge of the village of Lavoux, which is world-famous for its stone quarry site (and its motocross circuit from 1955 to 2003). Peaceful and quiet, 3 minute-walk from the town center, with a grocery and bakery (opened every day except on Wednesdays).
This lovely cottage (100 sq m) belonging in the same family for 3 generations, has been entirely renovated in 2018. The house is totally insulated, with double-paned windows and mechanical ventilation system.
